Skymaster Hoverboard: A Stellar Ride or Crash Course in Mediocrity?

The Skymaster promises a futuristic ride, but does it deliver on its promises? We put the Skymaster hoverboard to the test to see if it’s a stellar choice for gliding through your world or a crash course in disappointment.

First Impressions

The Skymaster has uniquie design and feels sturdy in your hands. It comes in a variety of colors, so you can find one that matches your style. However, some users report that the charging port feels flimsy and might be prone to damage if not handled carefully.

Riding the Skymaster

This hoverboard is designed for off-road riding with its chunky wheels. While it can handle bumps and uneven terrain, some reviewers found it a bit on the heavy side, making tricks and sharp turns a challenge. For beginners, the learning curve might be a bit steeper due to the weight and potential for wobbling. Our impression was very good as for the first time. We learn how to use it in 2 days. The most difficult part was to learn how to balance on it using internal gyroscope.

Speed and Battery Life

The Skymaster hits a decent top speed, which is great for cruising around. Battery life seems to be average, lasting for about 25km of ride.

Safety First

Safety is paramount with any hoverboard. The Skymaster comes with the standard safety features, but it’s important to remember that hoverboards aren’t without risks. Always wear a helmet and other protective gear, and be sure to ride in safe, open areas where you won’t encounter pedestrians or obstacles. That is very true – it was quite difficult sometimes for us to omit people walking down the street.

The Final Verdict

The Skymaster hoverboard is a decent choice for those looking for an off-road capable board. Its sturdy build quality and good speed are pluses. However, the weight and potentially flimsy charging port might be drawbacks for some. Before you take flight on the Skymaster, consider your experience level and riding preferences to see if it’s the right hoverboard for you.

Additional Tips

  • When researching hoverboards, be sure to check age restrictions and weight limits.
  • Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for charging and maintenance.
  • Be aware of your local laws and regulations regarding hoverboard use.

I wouldn’t recommend it as a way for transport, rather as a toy, which will be used in our case.
