During this time we watched lots of series and movies.

Here are the ones, which were my favourite during this time:

1. Charite

It is a German drama television series. The first season was directed by Sönke Wortmann, and was written by Grimme-Preis winner Dorothee Schön and Sabine Thor-Wiedemann. The season is set during 1888 and the years following at Berlin’s Charité hospital. I watched this during learning German and for me many dialogs were quite difficult. Although after watching all the serie my German knowledge as well as knowledge of old medicine increased significantly. I was afraid that this serie would be rather boring as I remebered so many German movies, but not this one. This was very interesting from the begining till the end!

2. New Amsterdam

It is an American medical drama television series, based on the book Twelve Patients: Life and Death at Bellevue Hospital by Eric Manheimer, that premiered on September 25, 2018 on NBC. The series was created by David Schulner and stars Ryan Eggold, Freema Agyeman, Janet Montgomery, Jocko Sims, Anupam Kher, and Tyler Labine.  As I love all medical series I couldn’t resist to watch this. First season was very slowly lead, focusing mainly on work of new medical director, struggling with cancer and awiting for his new kid. It was very interesting to watching his management style, his innovative methods of solving problems and his fight with theoretically unresolved problems like globall addiction to opiates. I must admit that this director showed the way of not to be afraid and introduced lots of useful solutions for his hospital. Usually people don’t have so much courage not even mentioning with face the consequences of their decisions. What is also worth mentioning – it is amazing soundtrack used in this series. I loved every music moment!

3) Korean series: „Hologram love”

This serie I watched, because I needed sth easy-peasy for reset. I expected rather silly romantic serie, but it suprised me with very intelligent plot as well as high-end technology used by computer company. I didn’t expect that I would see holografic presentations of such a good quality and AI, which can detect human emotions. I strongly recommend it for all fans of IT!

4) Korean series: Startup

This serie I watched with curiosity as I always wondered how startups look from the inside. I even thought about creating my own startup-but for me it was always easier to create additional projects without any company. The interesting thing in this serie was usage of high-end technologies and their appliances as: vision recognition, AI used for detecting forgery or autonomous cars. Strongly recommend for all IT fans!
